The legendary pop rock band Plavi Orkestar has sold 5 million records and performed at over 2,500 concerts. They have become the most important creator of urban culture and the Yugoslav rock music scene, and a concert attraction that always draws a large crowd. They remain the greatest cultural phenomenon, with their hits still part of radio playlists, indispensable at all parties, and connecting all generations for years. Their concerts are usually sold out, breaking all ticket sales records, with their total concert attendance exceeding 10 million people. At their last concert in Sarajevo, 50,000 people attended, and the year before that, they drew 120,000 at the Belgrade Beer Fest.
After a long hiatus, they are returning to Slovenia, where they will perform at Tartini Square on July 13, 2024.
